I’m Yvonne; I qualified from Birmingham School if Hygiene in 1985 and gained the Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1995. I have worked as a Dental hygienist at the practice for many years now where I have co-ordinated oral health education sessions at schools and open day events at the practice.
Over the last few years we as a profession have viewed the mouth in isolation from the rest of the body, but now with more clinical studies available we recognise the significant link between some systemic diseases and periodontal disease. This information has enhanced my treatment of patients.
In my spare time I play Tennis for the 3rd team at Hampton Tennis Club.
