Initially you will need to book a consultation with one of our specialists to discuss your specific requirements. Please contact us via email, use the enquiry form at the top of this page or call our reception team on 0121 705 2705 to arrange a consultation.
During your consultation the specialist whom you are seeing will take the time to discuss your concerns and find out what you are wishing to achieve with your dental care. They will undertake a comprehensive examination and then provide you with a verbal summary.
After a clinical examination the specialist will explain their findings and outline the various treatment options, which may be available, to meet your requirements.Your clinical examination will include:
At the end of the appointment you will be given options on how to proceed. This may mean a review appointment, meeting with another specialist, or simply returning to your practitioner electing not to have any treatment at this time. With more complicated treatment requirements, some patients wish to discuss the appointment with their spouse or family before deciding whether to proceed or not.We are more than happy should you wish to bring another family member to the initial consultation, or to any subsequent appointment. Following complex treatment consultations the specialist will write to you explaining their findings and giving you an idea on costs involved. You will then be invited to a free review appointment to discuss any queries you may have and how you would like to proceed.
Please note for treatments such as root canal therapy or minor oral surgery procedures a review appointment may not be necessary. We realise that dental treatment can be an anxious procedure for you and can offer intra-venous sedation for treatments. You will be safe hands with Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Matt Rootkin-Gray.
